A hidden gem found near Ringmore, with sandy beaches and rock pools. It is never overcrowded due to the 20 minute walk from the car park.
Bantham Beach, situated at the mouth of the Avon River use a wide open sandy beach. Popular with families and surfers. The beach offers views of nearby Burgh Island.
Close to Torcross Beach in South Devon you will find Beesands, a shingle beach with a freshwater lake behind it. A good spot for catching numerous fish depending on time of year.
Bigbury Beach is the bridge between Bigbury and Burgh Island. Make sure to check the tide times if you want to visit this unique beach as it only reveals itself at low tide. Very popular for a variety of water sports.
Blackpools sands, a shingle beach with clear blue waters is located near Dartmouth. Toilets, cafe and a shop nearby. Motor boats are not allowed near this beach.
This sandy beach near Hobeton owned by the Flete Estate is free for public use. It is also in very close proximity to Mothercombe Beach.
This Golden Beach is located on the coast near the luxury Gara Rock Hotel. To get there you'll have to take a 10 minute walk from the nearest car park but its well worth it.
Hallsands Beach, famous for its deserted village that was swept away by the sea in 1917. If you visit Hallsands you can enjoy the nice pebble beach and get a glimpse of the ruins that still remain.
A sandy beach that can be found between Inner Hope and Outer Hope in Hope Cove. A great place for all sorts of Water Sports. There is a harbour wall which kids love to jump off at high tide.
Lannacombe Beach is a petite sandy beach found near East Prawle. It is within waking distance to other attractions like the Start Point Lighthouse and Hallsands Beach with lovely Coastal Paths around.
East Portlemouth side of the Salcombe Estuary you can find Mill Bay Beach. This golden sand beach can be easily accessed by ferry.
Known locally as the perfect beach, Mothercombe was originally only accessible to the Public on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Now you can enjoy the golden sand beach any day of the year.
Another Sandy beach found in the Outer Hope in Hope Cove, With accessibility by slip way makes it a prefect beach for anyone to visit. It is only a few minutes walk from Harbour Beach.
With a restaurant and Toilets close by makes this the perfect beach to spend the day with your family. The beach is totally submerged at high tide so be sure to check tide times.
Slapton Sands Beach near Slapton is a 3 mile stretch of beach which runs from Strete Gate all the way down to Torcross. This Beach is perfect for Water Sports, Fishing and Walking.
Soar Mill Cove Beach is sandy beach with beautiful coves, found by walking the Coastal Path from Bolberry Car Park. Getting down to the beach is breeze but hiking back up can be a challenge so be sure to pack light.
South Milton Beach near Thurlestone is a very popular beach for families and Dog Walkers. Your eyes will never be bored with surrounding green fields and upfront view of the iconic Thurlestone Rock. You will often see windsurfers and other Water Sports taking place.
Another Golden sand Gem in Salcombe. South Sands is a little further out than its neighbour North Sands but it is well worth the travel. Because parking is limited, we recommend using the South Sands Ferry to and from Salcombe.
This isolated beach can only be accessed by boat or from walking the coastal path from Sharpitor to Bolt Head. With calm and clear waters makes this beach a perfect place for a swim.
Sunny Cove Beach is a golden sand beach based almost opposite the Remains of Fort Charles on the East Portlemouth Side of Kingsbridge Estuary. You can get to Sunny Cove Beach by either taking a boat from Salcombe or by taking a walk from Mill Bay.
Thurlestone beach is a sandy beach found at the bottom of Thurlestone Village. Mind your head for golf balls, just above you is the Thurlestone Golf Course
Torcross Sands Beach, also known as Slapton Sands beach depending where you stand is a shingle beach located in Torcross that stretches out 3 miles towards Strete Gate. This is a perfect beach for Watersports, Fishing, Dog Owners, Walking, Wildlife and Historians.
Wembury Beach near Plymouth is a sandy beach with a perfect view of the Geat Mewstone Island. You will find plenty of local surfers and dog walkers on your visit.
A sandy beach near Kingston on the Erme Estuary. At low tide, this beach is quite large making it a perfect playground for families to play football or frisbee.
